The Urgences Congress is the annual meeting of emergency medicine in France: organised by the French Society of Emergency Medicine (SFMU) and Samu-Urgences de France, it takes place every year in early June at the Palais des Congrès de Paris. Its organisers describe it as the largest scientific event on emergency care in Europe, with more than 4,000 participants over three days: emergency physicians, nurses and care assistants, medical regulation assistants, residents and students. Alongside the sessions, companies present their innovations at the Urgences Démos and in industry conferences. Clinicians judge equipment by how quickly it can be put to use, so your stand has to let them handle it as much as it explains.

Our advice
Show the procedure rather than the spec sheet: a demo station where visitors get to grips with your device in two minutes, on a simulation manikin or on screen, convinces more than a wall of text. Show from the aisle, in one line, the situation you help manage (cardiac arrest, trauma, patient surges, call handling), and announce short demos at set times at the reception desk, timed with the breaks in the programme. Keep a few seats set back for conversations about equipping a department or a mobile emergency unit, and lockable storage to protect the equipment from one day to the next.

FAQ
The Urgences Congress 2027 takes place from 2 to 4 June 2027 (Palais des Congrès de Paris). Dates checked on the organiser’s official website on 18 October 2026.
Design, build, installation and dismantling included, allow €6k to €14k excl. VAT for a 9 m² stand, €10k to €25k excl. VAT for a 18 m² stand and €25k to €70k excl. VAT for a 54 m² stand. Floor space, charged per m² by the organiser, and its technical services (electricity, rigging) come on top.
For a custom stand, before 10 February 2027, 16 weeks before opening: enough time to design, get the plans approved by the organiser and build. A premium modular stand can be ready in 6 to 8 weeks.
With MCO Congrès, the Marseille-based agency that runs the congress secretariat for the SFMU and Samu-Urgences de France: its partnerships team handles stands, industry conferences, start-ups and general logistics. Unless your package includes a stand supplied by the organiser, design, build, transport, installation and dismantling are ordered from a stand builder: that is our job, with projects from €5k excl. VAT. Budget separately for the organiser’s technical services and your conferences.
Yes. Patient monitor, ventilator, ultrasound scanner, simulation manikin or dispatch software on a large screen: we design the stand around the equipment, with a spot visible from the aisle, power supply and cable routing planned from the first drawings, a screen at eye level and enough room around the station for one clinician to handle the device while others watch. The dimensions, weight and power rating of each device go into the technical file the organiser has to approve. Everything is tested during pre-assembly in our workshop, and lockable storage keeps the equipment safe from one day to the next.
The congress offers partners industry conferences and innovation presentations, the Urgences Démos, whose replays then stay online on the congress website. The stand takes over from there: the same visual identity as your materials, invitations handed out at reception, a screen announcing your next session and a team ready to pick up the conversation with participants as they leave the room. Before the congress, the organiser also gives exhibitors a communication kit (social media visuals, email signature banner) to announce your presence to clients and prospects.
The congress website is in French: your English-speaking project manager goes through the organiser’s documents and deadlines with you, and coordinates your headquarters, your French subsidiary and your regulatory team. We design the stand in 3D, build and pre-assemble it in our workshop near Paris, then install and dismantle it at the Palais des Congrès with our own crews. Built in modules, the same stand can be reused at the JESFC in January or EuroPCR in May, both also held at the Palais des Congrès, with storage in between.
