Maison Orvane
La Serre Ambrée
A glass and brass greenhouse for a home fragrance house.
The brief
Maison Orvane was presenting its first home fragrance collection at Maison&Objet. The challenge was to translate scent into architecture, host international buyers and concept stores in a private setting, and make them want to order on the spot.
The idea
A contemporary greenhouse, with a slender brushed brass frame and fluted glass walls that hint at the interior without revealing everything. At the centre, a five-metre fragrance organ invites discovery; around it, three soft alcoves host buyer meetings.
Production
Brass-finished steel structure, 64 laminated fluted glass panels, tinted oak joinery, a fragrance organ with built-in lighting and controlled scent diffusion. Material samples approved in the workshop with the house’s art direction.

Our buyers told us they could “smell” the brand before they even walked in. That is exactly what we were after.
